Confidential Therapy Available
Mary Lee is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Life Coaching, and her passion is to use her gifts to build up the body of Christ, especially those serving, or those who have served, on the "front lines." Mary Lee has served on the "field" around the world in ministry and her heart to facilitate healing was birthed out of her experiences as she ministered to pastors, missionaries and leaders. During your stay, you can request some confidential therapy sessions while enjoying the beauty of His creation. Mary Lee will work with you, at your discretion, to facilitate a restoring of the soul, refreshing of the spirit, or to focus on what your heart is burdened with, so you can leave with your faith strengthen and your vision renewed. If this is a service you would desire, please indicate that request in your application for your stay.
Reflections from Guests at Our Faith-based Retreat
My husband, who is a senior pastor of a large church, was going through some difficult health issues and much spiritual warfare and discouragement. We searched the internet for a place that we could get away to for some rest but we also wanted counseling. God answered our search by allowing us to find Arkaios By The Sea and we are so grateful. The villa was beautiful! We enjoyed exploring around Antigua, enjoying the beaches and the lobster! But most of all, through Mary Lee and her Biblical counseling we were able to regain some perspective on our circumstances and make a choice to remain "steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our toil is not in vain in the Lord." (I Corinthians 15:58) Life in the ministry will always be a spiritual battle, but sometimes we need to listen to Jesus and "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while." (Mark 6:31) Arkaios was that place for us..... and may be again sometime!

The villa is very well situated close to a secluded beach (north beach) easily walkable; otherwise south beach is livelier with all the amenities you would need. The supermarket is close by and was well stocked and fairly reasonably priced. I recommend hiring a buggy to get around Jolly Harbour.
Overall, I would also thoroughly recommend Mary Lee's villa to anyone wanting a stress-free relaxing holiday in a spacious, clean and comfortable villa. Thank you Mary Lee, we will certainly be back!
